Vhealth International (VHI) was founded in 2016 by Victoria Ogunrinu, a Nurse Manager, an Assistant Hospital Administrator and an Adjunct Faculty of Nursing at the local University and colleges. While the formalization and incorporation of VHI was in 2016, Victoria started in the business of nursing education in 1993. She started the organization by tutoring nurses who were struggling to pass the NCLEX exam, many of whom were foreign nurses and repeated test takers who failed at first attempt. She launched her first NCLEX-RN review class in 1993 at Loma Linda Civic Center, Loma Linda, California under the name HEAL (Health Evaluation and Action Linkage) with emphasis on graduates of foreign nursing schools. Her passion for mentoring nurses, inspiration and courage grew tremendously, and staged series of NCLEX review classes with other instructors in California and Nigeria with great success and continuing demands.
The long-lived passion for helping others and sharing her knowledge and experience were not confined to the United States. As such, she has traveled across to countries such as Nigeria, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Honduras and Costa Rica, providing health care, imparting knowledge and empowering nurses. After retirement in 2016, her passion for mentorship, training and consultancy in nursing continued. The uniqueness of her training is the provision of linguistically appropriate and culturally sensitive training to bridge the gap between the NCLEX success rate of foreign and American trained nurses.
To offer a range of consulting services, designed to guide and help foreign-trained nurses and healthcare professionals reach their utmost possible potential.
